Fermented Herbal Formulas KIOM-MA128 Ameliorate IL-6-Induced Intestinal Barrier Dysfunction in Colon Cancer Cell Line

Figure 2

Effects of IL-6 and KIOM-MA/MA128 on cell viability of Caco2 cells. Cells were pretreated with various concentrations (100–400 μg/ml) of KIOM-MA/MA128 for 1 h and treated with IL-6 (50 ng/ml) for 24 h. Cell viability was determined using a Cell Counting Kit-8. Cell viability is represented as the percentage relative absorbance compared with the controls. (a) Cell viability of KIOM-MA/MA128; (b) cell viability of KIOM-MA/MA128 with IL-6 (50 ng/ml). The results are represented as the means ± SDs of three independent experiments, and -tests were performed.
