The anti-inflammatory effects of resveratrol and THSG in P. gingivalis LPS-treated HGFs. HGFs were cultured in 6-well plate and were starved with serum-free DMEM/F12 medium for 24 h when the cell confluence reached 80%. (a) HGFs were treated with 1 μg/mL P. gingivalis LPS for 0, 3, 6, and 24 h. (b) HGFs were pretreated with resveratrol and THSG (1 and 25 μM) for 30 min and then were treated with 1 μg/mL P. gingivalis LPS for 6 h. Total RNA was extracted and reverse transcripted to cDNA, and then the quantitative PCR was performed.
