An IHC grade was assigned to each specimen according to the degree of staining as described in Section 2. Normal = normal esophagus, BE = Barrett’s esophagus, and BEA = Barrett’s esophageal adenocarcinoma. values were calculated by chi-square test (versus (vs.) Normal and versus BE). IHC grade was analyzed in normal mucosal, columnar, and cancer cells in normal esophageal, BE, and BEA tissues, respectively. |
