Interleukin-22 Might Act as a Double-Edged Sword in Type 2 Diabetes and Coronary Artery Disease

Lysophosphatidylcholine (LPC) and glucose induce human umbilical vein endothelial cell (HUVEC) injury in a concentration-dependent manner. HUVECs were treated with different concentrations of LPC (5, 10, 20, and 40 μg/mL) and glucose (5, 15, 30, 60, and 90 mM) in Dulbecco’s Modified Eagle’s Medium (DMEM) for 24 h. Cell viability (relative to the control group) was analyzed using the CCK-8 assay.
