Visfatin Triggers Anorexia and Body Weight Loss through Regulating the Inflammatory Response in the Hypothalamic Microglia

<div>The effect of visfatin on the induction of the signal molecules involved in the inflammatory processes. Proteins were extracted from the BV2 cells following treatment with visfatin or vehicle (PBS) for 24 hours (a-b) or 30 min (c) at the indicated concentrations, and levels of (a) phospho-ERK, (b) Cox-2, and (c) I<i>κ</i>B<i>α</i> proteins were determined by immunoblot assay.
