MCL Plays an Anti-Inflammatory Role in Mycobacterium tuberculosis-Induced Immune Response by Inhibiting NF-κB and NLRP3 Inflammasome Activation

Illustration of the mechanism underlying the inhibitory effect of MCL on Mtb-induced immunopathologic response. MCL can suppress the phosphorylation of Akt causing the subsequently inhibitory effect on NF-κB and NLRP3 inflammasome, which then impair the production of proinflammatory cytokines and finally alleviate tuberculosis immunopathology.
