Danhong Huayu Koufuye Prevents Diabetic Retinopathy in Streptozotocin-Induced Diabetic Rats via Antioxidation and Anti-Inflammation

<div>Effects of DHK on plasma activities of SOD (a) and GPx (b) and serum level of NO (c) in rats. Seven days after injection of STZ, rats were orally administered for 16 weeks. At the end of the experiment, rats were anesthetized. Blood samples were collected to obtain plasma or serum. The activities of SOD and GPx and the level of NO were measured with commercial assay kits.
