Danhong Huayu Koufuye Prevents Diabetic Retinopathy in Streptozotocin-Induced Diabetic Rats via Antioxidation and Anti-Inflammation

<div>Effects of DHK on serum levels of VEGF (a) and ICAM-1 (b) in rats. Seven days after injection of STZ, rats were orally administered for 16 weeks. At the end of the experiment, rats were anesthetized. Blood samples were collected to obtain serum. Levels of VEGF and ICAM-1 were measured with commercial assay kits.
