Cordycepin suppresses inflammatory cytokine production and attenuates TLR4 and NFκB signal activation. Serum samples and liver tissues were harvested at 5 h after injected with GalN/LPS to mice. (a) Serum TNF-α, IL-1β, and IL-6 levels were assayed using ELISA method (n = 8). (b) Hepatic TNF-α, IL-1β, and IL-6 mRNA expressions were determined by qRT-PCR (n = 5).
