Implication of Ceramide Kinase in Adipogenesis

CerK is upregulated during adipogenesis. Cells were seeded in 6-well plates (1.2 × 10⁵ cells/well), and they were differentiated as described in Materials and Methods. (a) CerK was detected by Western blotting using a specific antibody. Equal loading of protein was assessed with an antibody against GAPDH. Similar results were obtained in each of 4 replicate experiments. (b) Results of the scanning densitometry of exposed film.
