The TLR4 molecule (green) is constitutively bound to MD-2 (magenta), and the TLR4 (cyan) molecule is constitutively bound to MD-2 (yellow). Dimerisation interfaces form between TLR4 and MD-2 and vice versa. Images were created by adapting the structure of TLR4 (PDB code: 3FXI) using PyMOL [37].
