Metabolic Derangements Contribute to Reduced sRAGE Isoforms in Subjects with Alzheimer’s Disease

Diminished sRAGE pools are characteristic of individuals with concurrent AD and obesity. Participants were grouped by obesity status (lean: <25 kg/m2, overweight: 25–29 kg/m2, obese: ≥30 kg/m2), and sRAGE isoforms were measured in pg/mL as mentioned previously.
