CGRP reduced ADAM17 expression and activation of EGFR and ERK1/2 in vascular smooth muscle cells treated with Ang II. After being pretreated with 10 nmol/l CGRP or/and 10 nmol/l CGRP 8–37 for 30 minutes, vascular smooth muscle cells were treated with 100 nmol/l Ang II for 24 hours.
