Characterization of Site-Specific Phosphorylation of NF-κB p65 in Retinal Cells in Response to High Glucose and Cytokine Polarization

mRNA expression of NF-κB-regulated inflammatory genes under high-glucose conditions and cytokine polarization in Müller cells. Müller cells were cultured under normal-glucose (NG, 5 mM) and high-glucose (HG, 25 mM) conditions followed by TNF-α and IL-1β versus IL-4 treatment over time. mRNA levels of IL-1β (a), IL-6 (b), IL-8 (c), IL-10 (d), IL-17a (e), TNF-α (f), TNFR (g), IFNγ (h), CXCL-11 (i), iNOS (j), COX-2 (k), and cFLIP (l) were detected by real-time RT-PCR. Data shown are representative of 5 independent experiments in duplicate and are expressed as . versus NG and versus HG.
