Dicalcium Silicate Induced Proinflammatory Responses through TLR2-Mediated NF-κB and JNK Pathways in the Murine RAW 264.7 Macrophage Cell Line

Figure 3

The OD values at 450 nm wavelength (a) and the cell proliferation rate (b) of the RAW 264.7 cells after being cocultured with C2S and TCP for 6 h, 24 h, 48 h, and 72 h. (a) The OD values at 450 nm wavelength of experimental groups were almost higher than in the control group. The positive control group showed low OD values at 450 nm wavelength. (b) More than 90% of the cells were viable in the experimental groups, and the proliferation rate was low in the positive control group. A higher proliferation rate was observed at 100 μg/mL TCP compared with 10 μg/mL () and 100 μg/mL C2S () after being cocultured for 6 h. Additionally, 100 μg/mL TCP produced a higher proliferation rate than the 10 μg/mL of TCP () and C2S () cocultured for 48 h. , , and (experimental group versus control group). , , and (C2S versus TCP).
