Chemokine and Cytokine Cascade Caused by Skewing of the Th1-Th2 Balance Is Associated with High Intracranial Pressure in HIV-Associated Cryptococcal Meningitis

<div>Baseline cytokine and chemokine levels in HIV-uninfected patients (HIV-Crypt-), HIV-infected patients (HIV+Crypt-), and HIV-infected patients with cryptococcal meningitis (HIV+Crypt+). Most baseline cytokine and chemokine levels were significantly elevated in HIV+Crypt+ patients (GSF-GM levels were not shown because no significant difference was found between groups).</div>
