PG102 Upregulates IL-37 through p38, ERK, and Smad3 Pathways in HaCaT Keratinocytes

IL-37 induction by PG102 is dependent on the activation of Smad3. (a) HaCaT cells were incubated with PG102 for 48 hours. The cells were lysed, and equal amounts of protein were subjected to Western blot analysis using antibodies against phospho-Smad3, Smad3, and β-actin. (b) HaCaT cells were pretreated with 10 μM SIS3 for 1 hour, followed by incubation with or without PG102 (1 mg/mL) for 48 hours and Western blot analysis. Representative results from three independent experiments are shown.
