I<i>κ</i>B Kinase Inhibitor VII Modulates Sepsis-Induced Excessive Inflammation and Cardiac Dysfunction in 5/6 Nephrectomized Mice

<div>5/6 nephrectomy-induced chronic kidney dysfunction causes systemic inflammation mediated by CLP. The inflammatory markers of lung inflammation and systemic inflammatory markers were evaluated after 24 hours in mice subjected to CLP. (a) MPO activity was assessed in lung tissues. (b) Levels of TNF-<i>α</i> in plasma; (c) levels of IL-1 in plasma; (d) levels of IL-12 in plasma; (e) levels of IL-18 in plasma.
