Effects of CIA cartilage explants on gene expressions related to inflammation and cell cycle of FLS. CIA cartilage explants were treated with vehicle (Ctrl group), 10 ng/mL IL-1α (IL-1α group), and 10 ng/mL IL-1α plus 10 μM dexamethasone (Dex group) for 3 days before being placed into monolayer FLS for another 2 days. Cocultured FLS were collected for related gene expressions. All data were presented as a value relative to those in the Ctrl group.
