Model explaining the mechanism underlying the anti-inflammatory effects of MaR1. MaR1 treatment decreased the levels of IL-4, IL-5, and IL-13 and inhibited COX-2 and ICAM-1 expression via the suppression of NF-κB signaling in the OVA-induced asthma mouse model. MaR1 is a potential anti-inflammatory compound that could ameliorate inflammation in the OVA-induced asthma mouse model.
