Short-term diabetogenic effects of ALX and STZ on the thymus. T1D was induced as described in Methods, and (a) thymuses from the CT, ALX, and STZ groups were collected on the 15th day and characterized according to the percentage of CD3+, CD4+CD8-, CD4-CD8+, CD4+CD8+, T lymphocytes, and CD19+ B lymphocytes.
