Interleukin-27 Ameliorates Atherosclerosis in ApoE<sup>-/-</sup> Mice through Regulatory T Cell Augmentation and Dendritic Cell Tolerance

<div>Recombinant IL-27 reduced the expression of IFN-<i>γ</i> and IL-17A while increasing the expression of TGF<i>-β<sub>1</sub>,</i> IL-10, and Foxp3 in the aorta. The expression of associated genes in the aorta during the initiation (a) and the progression (b) of atherosclerosis were detected by qPCR.
