Pulmonary arterial pressure (PAP), systemic arterial pressure (SAP), and peripheral oxygen saturation (O₂ Sat) measured in the postoperative care unit with readings at 2-hour intervals (12 times within a day) for 2.5 consecutive days. Data are presented as mean with SE. Circles and squares represent patients with () and >0.40 (), respectively. Data were analyzed using the general linear model for repeated measures. There was a significant between-group difference for mean PAP () but not for mean SAP () or O₂ Sat (0.113).
