The results are expressed as median (IQR), and the statistical analysis was performed using the Mann–Whitney test followed by the test. Statistical significance was considered at in all cases. Reference values: fibrinogen: 200-400 mg/dL; platelets: 130-/mm3; leukocytes: 4-/mm3; hemoglobin: 13.0-16.0 g/dL for males and 12.0-14.0 g/dL for females; creatine kinase: 24-190 IU/L; lactate dehydrogenase: 211-423 IU/L; urea: 10-45 mg/dL; creatinine: 0.5-1.2 mg/dL.
