Madder (<i>Rubia cordifolia L.</i>) Alleviates Myocardial Ischemia-Reperfusion Injury by Protecting Endothelial Cells from Apoptosis and Inflammation

<div>Effect of madder treatment on inflammatory response, autophagy, and apoptosis of myocardial cells: (a) the expressions of inflammatory cytokines TNF-<i>α</i>, IL-1<i>β</i>, and IL-6 were detected by ELISA assay; (b) the expression changes of apoptosis for factors Caspase-3 and Caspase-9 were detected by ELISA assay; (c) ELISA assay was used to detect the expression changes of autophagy factors
