Advanced Human Life and Applications in Digital Twin 2021

Description

Digital Twin (DT) is a technology that predicts results in advance by creating twins of real objects on a computer and simulating situations that may occur in real life. Digital twin is attracting attention as a technology that can solve various industrial and social problems as well as having uses in manufacturing. It is a combination of data and information representing the structure, context, and operation of various physical systems. One of the advantages of digital twins is that they are powerful digital objects that can be used to optimize the physical world, greatly improving operational performance and business processes.

However, there are also various limitations and problems to realize DT. Current practical problems include finding computing technology that can process massive amounts of data and networking technology that can transmit DT information to each place. In addition, the digital twin may increase malfunction along with an increase in management difficulty as numerous sensors and networks are added to the existing system, and a high initial construction cost is required. In addition, AR/VR/Metaverse-based digital contents for use in DT are not enough.

The main purpose of this Special Issue is to collate innovative research on DT to overcome these various limitations, and to share the various results presented in these studies with other researchers. Original research and review articles are welcome.

Potential topics include but are not limited to the following:

  • ŸHuman life models of human relationship based on smart mobile devices in DT
  • ŸMobile intelligent computers and cloud computing in DT
  • ŸHuman-Computer Interaction between mobile devices in DT
  • ŸIoT for AI/big data in DT
  • ŸAR/VR for human life in DT
  • ŸMetaverse for DT
  • ŸDigital culture/contents design in DT
  • ŸMobile digital contents strategy in DT
  • ŸContext relationship in DT
  • ŸSmart City/Smart Home/Smart Vehicle/Smart Grid for human life in DT
  • ŸCyber security in DT
  • ŸSecurity applications in DT
  • ŸEntropy in cyber-society for DT
  • ŸInformation strategy for DT
  • ŸQuantum Computing for DT
  • ŸQuantum Networking for DT
