This plot clearly demonstrates that the relative fitting error can be essentially decreased (on the half-order of magnitude at least) if the optimal 𝐿 in decomposition (9) can be found. The initial points located on the left-hand side correspond to the initial selection of 𝐿 from the condition 𝑥_𝑁−𝑥₀=𝐿. The minimal (optimal) values of 𝐿 are collected in Table 1. The bold vertical lines show the limits of the optimal values of 𝐿. All these plots are obtained for the limiting value of 𝐾=40 in (9), which is chosen as the optimal for the fitting purposes.
