Damage stateDescription
(test observations)

SlightInsignificant or minor damage. It does not need repair. Less than 30% of its height with cracks, and they are less than or equal to 1 mm thickness.

ModerateTolerable damage. It needs some repair. Less than 60% of its height with cracks, and they are less than or equal to 2 mm thickness.

ExtensiveSignificant, substantial, or major damage. It needs to be demolished. More than 60% of its height with cracks, and many of them are more than 2 mm in thickness. Unconfined concrete has substantial spalling.
