Pattern recognition based on CBF information.

	Step 1. Let be the finite number of known patterns in terms of CBFS information in a finite universe of discourse .
	Step 2. Consider unknown pattern in the form of CBFS in ; this pattern is to be recognized.
	Step 3. Compute the proposed cosine similarity measure between and by using equations (3)–(12). If the elements of the universe of discourse carry some weights, then weighted similarity measures given in equations (15)–(17) can be utilized.
	Step 4. The pattern having maximum similarity measure with finite pattern is the required pattern.
