A Novel Architecture for the Smart Pedestrian Crossing in Cities Using IoT-Based Approach

IoT device to safeguard the pedestrian crossing.
Step 1. Initialize the IoT device to detect the gesture.
Step 2. Initialize the variables ST, T and Gesture ‘G’ in accordance with the clock module.
Step 3. Repeat detecting the gesture ‘G’
     IF (G = = TRUE)
        Initialize ST.
        Calculate T.
        Share the update with pedestrians with the help of LEDs.
        Maintain the database for every G on a cloud-based platform.
     ELSE
        No action is required.
        T is set as default.
