Integration and Optimization of Green Supply Chain Networks under the Epidemic Environment

Description

The improvement of consumers' environmental awareness and the emergence of carbon emission reduction policies pose new challenges to supply chain management. As the main carrier of carbon emissions, developing green and coordinated supply chains has become an inevitable trend. Therefore, it is necessary to study the new operation mode of supply chains, deeply explore the relationship among various functional elements, and make the supply chain network more integrated and coordinated so as to realize the maximum profit.

During the COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control period, intelligent supply chain, unmanned industry, and other new business forms and new scenarios have emerged. For example, the enabling of digital technology to traditional industries, the innovation of business models based on precise demand, and the new consumption formats that rely on data flow. This will bring new opportunities for the transformation of traditional supply chains. However, from the intelligent and efficient coordination of production, inventory, distribution, and recycling, to complex matching supply and demand relations, how to implement at a lower cost to meet the market demand, achieve energy conservation, and emissions reduction are still important issues that need to be solved.

Therefore, this Special Issue will focus on the integration and optimization of the supply chain network based on carbon emission policy under the epidemic environment. In addition, it is hoped that the negative impact of various uncertainties on the supply chain network can be reduced to a certain extent, and at the same time the benign operation of the entire supply chain network can be realized. Original research and review articles are welcome.

Potential topics include but are not limited to the following:
