Computational Methods for Engineering Science

Description

With the recent advances on various aspects of theories, analyses, and applications of computational methods in engineering science, in particularly, to reflect the state of the art in computational methods, new and advanced engineering applications in emerging technologies such as bioscience and biotechnology, nanoscience and nanotechnology, computational mechanics, numerical modeling and simulation, computational material sciences, etc.; we cordially invite researchers and practitioners to submit their original papers to this special issue. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Computational mechanics
  • Ocean engineering
  • CFD
  • Computational mathematics
  • Multiscale modeling
  • Element-free/meshless/meshfree methods and dimension-reduction methods
  • Geometric and material nonlinear analyses
  • Fracture and fatigue
  • Smart structures and health monitoring
  • Structural optimization
  • Nanomechanics and nanoengineering
  • Biomechanics
  • Inverse and coupling problems

Before submission authors should carefully read over the journal's Author Guidelines, which are located at http://www.hindawi.com/journals/mpe/guidelines/. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal Manuscript Tracking System at http://mts.hindawi.com/submit/journals/mpe/cmta/ according to the following timetable:
