Computational Intelligence in Complex Decision Making

Description

In recent years, there has been a growing interest in building intelligent decision-aid tools for engineering and many fields of mathematics in uncertain environments, which include various kinds of information that are incomplete, imprecise, and vague.

Uncertainties make the decision making process more difficult, including the determining and selection of the index system, weight, and the fusion of decision information. Computational intelligence technology (including fuzzy logic, social networks, etc.) is a supplement to the existing traditional methods, which shows great potential in solving decision-making problems in uncertain and unpredictable environment.

This Special Issue aims to address the developments and applications of computational intelligence in complex decision making for fields of manufacturing and engineering. Original research and review articles are welcome.

Potential topics include but are not limited to the following:

  • Fuzzy analysis
  • Fuzzy logic
  • Decision support systems
  • Social networks
  • Social networks
  • Uncertain decision making
  • Complex information fusion
  • Complex information operation
