Acute Putrescine Supplementation with Schwann Cell Implantation Improves Sensory and Serotonergic Axon Growth and Functional Recovery in Spinal Cord Injured Rats

<div>Methodology timeline: all groups received a T9 contusion injury at the 0-week time point. The Acute Put + SC group also received the putrescine-administering minipumps within 30 minutes of injury. At 1 week after injury all groups received SC. Also at 1 week after injury the Delayed Put + SC group received the putrescine-administering minipumps. All groups were euthanized and prepared for tissue processing at 10 weeks after injury.</div>
