Effects of Antipsychotic Drugs on the Epigenetic Modification of Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor Gene Expression in the Hippocampi of Chronic Restraint Stress Rats

<div>Effects of antipsychotic drugs on DNA methyltransferase (DNMT) 1 and DNMT3a mRNA levels in the rat hippocampus. Rats were given a daily injection of either VEH, OLA, or HAL for 21 d in conjunction with either + stress or − stress. The DNMT1 (a) and DNMT3a (b) mRNA levels in the rat hippocampus were assessed using a qRT-PCR procedure.
