Inhibition of NLRP3 Inflammasome Ameliorates Cerebral Ischemia-Reperfusion Injury in Diabetic Mice

<div>NLRP3 inhibition had no effect on the infarction size in diabetic mice after 24 hr MCAO. The left panel showed that representative 2% TTC-stained coronal sections indicated infarctions in the sham and stroke group. Quantification of the infarct volume was represented as a percent of the hemispheric volume 24 hr poststroke (shown in the right panel).
