Evaluation of the Wnt1 overexpression vector in U251 cells by Western blot and PCR. Forty-eight hours after transfection with the Wnt1 expression vector or empty vector, U251 cells were harvested, and the mRNA and protein levels of Wnt1 were determined by real-time PCR and Western blot. The mRNA (a) and protein (b, c) levels of Wnt1 were significantly higher in U251 cells overexpressing Wnt1 than in control cells, whereas the empty vector did not influence Wnt1 expression. .
