Electroacupuncture Alleviated Referral Hindpaw Hyperalgesia via Suppressing Spinal Long-Term Potentiation (LTP) in TNBS-Induced Colitis Rats

EA restored the referral hindpaw hyperalgesia in colitis rats. The mechanical (a) and thermal (b) withdrawal latencies of bilateral hindpaws in colitis rats were reduced in comparison with the vehicle group, indicating the development of referral hindpaw hypersensitivity after TNBS irritation, which could be alleviated by EA treatment.
