Effect of EA pretreatment on Garcia score, cerebral infarction volume, and the number of neuron apoptosis in the hippocampal CA1 region of MCAO/R rats. After cerebral I/R injury for 24 h, the neural behavior of the rats was evaluated by the Garcia score (), the infarct volume was detected by TTC staining of the brain slices (), and the cellular outcome was detected by TUNEL fluorescence staining ().
