Visual motion stimuli. Four hundred white square dots (visual angle, °; luminance, 48 cd/m2) were randomly presented on a black background (visual angle, °; luminance, 0.1 cd/m2). The contrast level was 99.6%. The white dots moved at a velocity of 5.0°/s. When the white dots move incoherently, random motion stimulation is created.
