The effects of minocycline and dexamethasone on the oxidative/nitrosative stress associated with minimal hepatic encephalopathy. Both dexamethasone and minocycline ( per group) reduced the levels of heme oxygenase-1 gene expression (a), iNOS gene expression (b), and nitrite/nitrate (μmol/g) (c) in the brain tissue associated with acute liver injury.
