The SP/NK1R System-Mediated ROS Generation in GBM Cells through Inhibiting Glutaredoxin Protein

<div>The effects of SP and aprepitant on glutaredoxin activity in U87 glioblastoma cells. The results demonstrate that glutaredoxin activity is significantly increased in cells treated with aprepitant (15 <i>μ</i>M) with or without pretreatment with SP (100 and 400 nM) as compared to the untreated control cells. The activity of glutaredoxin is indicated as ng/mL.</div>
