Effects of gliclazide and NAC on dRib-triggered cell death. HIT-T15 cells were preincubated with gliclazide or NAC for 30 min at the indicated concentrations and then cultured with 35 mM dRib for 24 h. Cell viability was determined by trypan blue exclusion assays. Data are expressed as the mean ± SD of the percentage of viable cells relative to the controls treated with vehicle (0.04% DMSO).
