The GSH levels after NAPQI treatment with Rg3 in Nrf2-deficient cells. H4IIE cells were transiently transfected with siRNA directed against Nrf2 or control siRNA and subsequently treated with Rg3 (3 μg/mL) or vehicle for 24 h. Then, cells were incubated with NAPQI (200 μM) for 2 h. The GSH level was determined in the cell homogenates. All experiments were performed in quadruplicate. Each value represents the mean ± S.E.
