Summary of nitrated mitochondrial proteins in acetaminophen (APAP)-exposed mice. Some recently-identified nitrated mitochondrial proteins in APAP-exposed mouse livers are summarized with respect to the function of each protein identified by mass spectrometry. *Five selected proteins (marked in bold blue) were further characterized for the reversible changes and enzyme activities after APAP exposure in the absence or presence of NAC co-treatment, as described in and adapted from [35].
