Role of Steen solution in the cell nitric oxide biodisponibility. In vitro study: nitric oxide biodisponibility, evaluated by the production of nitrite/nitrate (NOx), in cells suspended in the buffer solution (BS) or Steen solution and stimulated with or without arachidonic acid (AA) (0.5 mM) for platelet (PLT) (a), lipopolysaccharide (LPS) (50 pg/mL) for lymphocytes/monocytes (LYM/MON) (b), and phorbol 12-myristate 13-acetate (PMA) (10 μM) for polymorphonuclear leukocytes (PMNs) (c).
