Changes of mitochondrial dynamic regulators in retinas of young and old rats. SD rats aged five months (young) and 25 months (old) were sacrificed; total proteins of retina tissues were prepared for analysis. Expressions of mitochondrial dynamic regulators including Drp1, OPA1, Mfn1, and Mfn2 were analyzed by Western blot ((a) Western blot image and (b) statistical analysis). The values are the means ± S.E.M from 8 rats per group. ^∗𝑃<0.05 and ^∗∗𝑃<0.01 as calculated by Student’s 𝑡-test.
