Toona sinensis Inhibits LPS-Induced Inflammation and Migration in Vascular Smooth Muscle Cells via Suppression of Reactive Oxygen Species and NF-B Signaling Pathway

TS and GA inhibit the LPS-induced migration of A7r5 cells in the transwell assay. (a) Cells were preincubated with or without TS (25–75 μg/mL) or GA (5 μg/mL) for 2 h and then stimulated with LPS (100 ng/mL) for 24 h. Cells that migrated to the lower membrane were photographed (200x magnification). (b) The percentage of migrated cells was quantified and expressed relative to untreated cells (control), which represented 100%. To quantify migration, cells were counted in three microscopic fields per sample. The results are presented as the mean ± SD of three assays. significant difference ( ) in comparison to control or LPS-treated groups, respectively.
