EC effect on striatal Ca2+-dependent and Ca2+-independent nitric oxide synthase activity. The Ca2+-dependent NOS activity was significantly increased after MPP+ treatment. The results are expressed as mean ± S.E.M. of 5–7 animals per group in ng L-citrulline/500 mg of protein/30 min. , two-way ANOVA followed by Tukey’s test.
