Serum malondialdehyde (MDA), total vitamin C, ascorbic acid (Asc), dehydroascorbic acid (DHA), and myeloperoxidase activity (MPO) were measured in 30 male athletes before and after 14 days of vitamin C oral supplementation (2 g/daily). Differences were tested by paired-samples -test.
